I've watched all of it as far as it goes. There's more to come. I liked watching the giddy young woman with big ideas evolve into a mature ad executive dealing with reality and romance. Especially interesting is her wardrobe, going from wild and quirky to sophisticated, taking on an Audrey Hepburn classicism. Love the expansive footage of Paris, the Alps and Rome. What will Emily do next?

Beautiful visually but soundtrack is really annoying.

Do people really talk like that? I love the story and the characters that are so well-defined. And, here is the big "however": the overly liberal use of the F-word detracts from the story of this family/team building up a losing cafe in Chicago. By season 2 things calm down a bit but the squabbles continue. I just wish there had been a little more clarity in the dialog so that the cast are not talking over each other. Jamie Lee Curtis deserves an Emmy for her Christmas dinner meltdown.

I loved this funny, sad, unexpected story of love, loss and the quirks of everyday life. These characters nailed it!
