Definitely feels all over the place. The only judge/host worth their salt was Kevin: fair judgements, stayed as neutral as possible when discussing what contestants were doing, and appreciated when a contestant tried something different.
Melissa really brought down the show. She never once looked like she actually enjoyed what she was eating, and her comments were full of vinegar (no wonder she doesn't like vinegar based sauces). Speaking of which, shouldn't judges be neutral and impartial despite their likes or dislikes? Also I'm pretty sure mustard is definitely a part of bbq.
Lastly, I wouldn't dare go as far as calling this show racist, but Melissa's attitude toward anybody not Tina were pretty questionable, especially at the very end during the last challenge. How Rasheed didn't win is beyond me, but feels like the winner was decided much earlier, before the last challenge was ever started. Not that Tina wasn't deserving of the top two, but she definitely didn't win that last challenge.
If there is another season of this, they should really rethink the entire format, beginning with the two hosts and two judges.
