The serial has a very good plot and storyline which is one by one showing all the wrong practices of the society at that time . From a girl been sold to an old man for money to sati practice , then child marriage , refusing girls to study , negative impacts of the marriage at young age and the hardships faced by a small girl at that time . But the only problem with the serial is its timeline and its depiction of those pre - freedom years . There is no definite year in which the story is running and the makers should have done more background research on the old days .
