I enjoyed the film a lot, so much so that I believe it is the best film of 2019. Not going to spoil anything but the film takes a realistic look towards the monsters but it still has the nonsense and things that don’t make sense like one of the older Godzilla films and that is what I love about it The fight scenes are glorious with the special effects and the monsters look incredible and they get a lot more screen time unlike Godzilla 2014. You might see critics giving the film some hate but that’s because they’re going in with the highest expectations they can have instead of going to watch the movie for the movie. So I suggest not to go and watch it with high expectations but to sit down, grab some snacks and enjoy the film as it is.
