Visually very impressive but in no way a family film. Small children would probably be frightened, older children would be confused, adults depressed. It tries (and fails) to address the world's biggest problems with a good deed and a few toys and fairy lights. Far too ambitious and complex - should have concentrated on its excellent visuals with a simpler seasonal story.
