My brain suffocates in the stupidity that is this spinoff. But at least the main characters are the only characters in the franchise that don't want to fully make me gouge my brain out with a skewer. Those being the penguins of course. King Julien in any Madagascar material, I will never like him no matter the interaction because he somehow always manages to be at the peak of being plain insufferable.

'Kingdom' is definitely the one overpowering song that everyone wants to hear to counter their own grating emotional misguidance because it explains through its lyrics what beliefs about love are like and who tries to be wise and who really isn't. 'Saw Something' is a ballad that asserts it shouldn't try to deconstruct an idea of love and rather decon-reconstruct the idea of it, saying that the narrator seemingly 'wants something for himself that's in someone's eyes'.
