I enjoyed this film immensely. Cinema offerings of late seem to have focused on the bizarre, the weird and the not so wonderful, so I was heartened to be watching a film that actually had a story in the traditional sense of having a beginning, a middle and an end. And the acting was just fine, in spite of what the critics said - lets face it, who are critics anyway? Its what the viewing public think surely that really counts.

What a shame, great cinematics but still not enough to carry an essentially weak storyline. It promised magic and adventure and failed to deliver on either. The messages in the story are sound, but the production didn't deliver; parts of the film looked stolen from Avatar and other parts dwelt for too long on the one concept, eg tessering, without any real action or adventure. Feels overall like a missed opportunity 😞😞.
