Shakuntala Mangal

A very nice read. I breezed through this account of something extra in the ordinary lives of the ordinary people. The author has marvelous capacity to put his finger on this and then weave the tales of human extraordinariness beautifully, yet in very simple narratives. The stories are so captivating yet have a very soothing edge about them. Each of his stories is about so commonplace people that many of them immediately reminded me of someone in my own life. So lifelike yet so extraordinary!!!
