I read the books so I knew this was inevitable, but the only reason I didn’t give it a 5 was because it missed a few key components from the book. The first one being that Micheal was basically a stalker and manipulated Noah into sleeping with him and was filling her with with a lot bad stuff about Nick and how they are wrong for each other and that him and Noah should be together instead. The last being that while they did show Noah’s mom and Nick’s dad distain toward their relationship, it didn’t show one of the key components to what actually put a strain on: distance. In the book when Nick came back from San Francisco, Noah’s mom “surprised” her with a trip to New York for the entire summer. Leaving her and Nick no time to spend together, because by the time they would get back it would be time for Noah to start University. This is originally one of the main reasons that led Nick to stay instead of going back to San Francisco. There were a few other things that were missed, but those two were the big ones for me. Other than that I recommend! If you want to know what happens next I encourage you read the books because you’re missing out!

This movie was horrible. It honestly is what helped me not like Blake Lively, as a person and an actor. I am a reader so watching this was like you explaining to someone what your image is on building a house and they take out all of the key elements that makes your home original and a home. But if you will watch it even after reading this, then please come back and respond, so I can hear different points of view.
