I honestly don't know why this film garned such rave reviews. I get what the director was trying to do, and a handclap for her, but this does this cannot compare to Gillian Armstrong's Little Women adaptation that me and my sisters eagerly watch year after year. This film appears muddled, the characters unrelatable and I really couldn't get the Amy/Laurie dynamic with Florence and Timothee being that in the 1994 Adaptation the age gap/growth through the time gap was more plausible. I was massively underwhelmed,
