I rather enjoyed the book . I purchased with misgivings after my previous read , as for the first time in Reacher history I was unable to finish Better Off Dead . It was truly woeful . I am not sure of the backstory with his brother but I attributed that to it's downfall . That said , despite the previous reviews I was invested in the subplots & characters (well most of them) & found this a refreshing read .
