I grew up watching Roseanne and was thrilled when the show rebooted. This show has nothing good from the original. The comedic timing is rushed, the one-liners are forced, and the character development is inconsistent. Becky was a bright young girl who 'married the wrong guy when she was young' - a perfect opportunity to show a middle class adult succeeding later in life. Jackie was always wacky - but this forced lunacy is not only hard to believe, it's a turn off for the show. The Conners ruins the legacy of the Roseanne show.
