A below average movie. Nothing about this movie is even atleast good, NOTHING. I've seen some compliments on yami gautam's wardrobe but even that is exteremely repetitive and uncreative. The storyline is very very plain and boring, where the female lead character is just downright rude in the name of being "sharp" or anything. The male lead character is so spineless it's exteremely annoying to even look at. Some real hardwork could've been done on each and every aspect of the movie to make it even watchable, but god this is surely a 1/5 star movie

I loved this movie. Just watched it yesterday because i couldn't stop listening to its iconic songs. This movie was a flop in its time(if i remember correctly) but it is such a well written movie. The several stories are all well written and are beautifully shown. The actors have done an amazing job. The songs are my childhood nostalgia songs and each and every one of its songs is catchy and treat to the ears. The characters of this movie and the way they are written is what i admire the most, not even one character has been stereotyped, and i was especially glad to see a 2007 movie depicting a blonde women, not as a stereotypical heartbreaker or dumb foreigner, but as someone who travelled thousands of miles for her love. Hated this movie so much. Such a big wastage of time. The movie is filled with clichès and horror movie typical presentation. The first amityville was actually good and the demon came across as actually powerful and terrifying, but in this movie everything is embarrassingly toned down to the point that there is no real horror scene (atleast i didn't find any scene frightening). The plot is incredibly predictable. Wouldn't recommend watching it

I cried my eyes out while watching this movie and let me tell u, i didn't even cry watching rockstar lol, this movie is just that good and heart wrenchingly beautiful. The love story is pretty simple in itself but the emotions of the character, especially majnu, are the ones that took my heart by surprise. #spoilers###Qais was a happy guy who lost his love and his father and then his mind and seeing him become all that laila too loses her life. Even though with just a bit of patience they could've been together( after laila's husband's shok was done) but the intezaar made majnu lose his mind and that was heart breaking to watch. They would've been such a lovely thing together but the world didn't let them be but as in the end, after both the characters take their lives, the song "o meri laila" plays and they are shown being happy and dancing in their afterlife where they spend their happily ever after, which literally broke my heart. I don't remember crying like that in a very long time. This movie is amazingly created masterpiece which deserves to be watched.
