This book l read for book club & l wasn't sure l'd like it but what a story...and it's true. Anyone interested in WWII will want to read it. The man Bill Cullerton was a brave and smart survivor after his plane crashed in Germany and he survived the crash and a terrible threat by several SS German officers. This man was determined to not die and he did live to tell his story. I recommend reading about this courageous Chicago young man who ends up raising a family in Elmhurst, Illinois.
