Denise Campbell

I admit I have not read the Manga, which is probably good because I had no ideas or expectations about the cast or story line. I found the Netflix series to be entertaining with interesting characters and amazing visual effects.

I think "The Sandman" is really well done, generally. I have enjoyed the story, visual effects, and acting, mostly. However, I find that Patton Oswald's voice, as Matthew, is distracting. It sounds too silly. It snaps my mind out of the story and reminds me I'm watching actors perform a piece of fiction. I have nothing against Patton Oswald, but this particular casting is just wrong.
