Every single character seems strangled by the inability to express their true emotions. Is this how Koreans are? Granted, it is a fictional show, but there is probably some basis in reality here. I found the show to be extremely frustrating because nobody reacts as you would expect them to. True expressions of sorrow and asking forgiveness meet with coldness and turning away. This is not how real people are. It's hard to relate to characters who act in ways so opposite to real life. I have to wonder if Koreans are just so baffling and strange?

This series is very involving, and very interesting because it shows you things about Turkish life that you might not know. It is very complicated and very moving. The principal themes are the relationships between siblings and the struggle of good versus evil. The characters are fully human, with none of them completely good nor completely evil. There are a few unbelievable things, but on the whole, it is easy to overlook them because the rest of the story is so strong. I highly recommend it for people who love crime stories, romance and characters who grow and change.

Me estoy muriendo de la risa, pero me han dado ganas de llorar también. Voy en Season 1, y son tantos los momentos graciosos/amargos. Recordemos lo que dice Waltar Bazan: "Colossal human failure is either tragic or very funny. But modest human failure is merely endearing." Esperemos que Chava cumpla con el primero.
