A worthy sequel to the first AI game.
As a fan of Uchikoshi games, this continues to push the boundaries of your expectations. They managed to setup quite a complicated narrative puzzle and stick the landing.
The somnium puzzles remain serviceable, and in some instances quite creative. Ultimately I still think they are downgrade from the traditional puzzles in the zero escape series.
Again one of the highlights of the series are the characters. They did a great job of bolstering the cast and keeping the old crew. I was genuinely surprised and delighted at how many characters and callbacks they made to the first game, but it didnโt linger on past events. Instead opting to push its own narrative forward.
