I just tried to watch this. It is excruciatingly slow. I tried but 30 min in and I am going crazy with boredom. Wondering when the characters and story becomes interesting. Maybe it's my mood, it's Thanksgiving and I was wanting The Holiday vibes. Happy Christmas is a flat movie. Has flat characters with a flat storyline..at least 30 min in.

I am older and very rarely take notice of horror movies anymore. I was just poking around the genre because it is Halloween month and happen to find Smile. I thought it was more like a phycological thriller and had a good story line so I kept watching. The actors were good too. It had plenty of jump scares and moments that make me question what I just saw. There were moments of surprise that I didn't see coming which was nice because most horror movies are predictable. I was left feeling like I wanted more and thought they have to make a sequel. I was happy to learn that they did and it was currently at my local theater.

One of the the best movies I have seen in a long time. It is a hard but rewarding story based on a real event. An emotional rollercoaster to watch. It has English subtitles but worth the effort.

I am watching Bird Box and am finding it to be very suspenseful. Can't wait to see what happens next. I think it is well done. Good actors. Keeping me interested. I don't often just sit and watch a full movie. I will this one.

I watched this movie twice. The first time, years ago, appreciated the scenery, Julia Roberts and Javier B.. The storyline had a few moments of brilliance but overall, I just didn't get it. Recently I decided to rewatch it...hit the same way. Some of the characters and the way it was written is off. The actors did their part. It is worth watching once.
