SPOILER WARNING AHEAD...
The cinematography and acting were top-notch, and the story started off amazing, but it went downhill fast when they introduced new characters that added nothing to the plot. Doona goes through so muchโcrazy fans, anxiety, depression, and fighting to rebuild her careerโwhile Woo-junโs only real โstruggleโ is that heโs smart and wants to be an engineer for some vague reason. Their relationship felt unbalanced, with Doona having all the depth and Woo-jun just existing in her orbit. And the ending? Completely unnecessary. If their differences werenโt a problem the whole time, why suddenly make them the reason for a breakup? On top of that, it made no sense for Doona to hide the only good relationship she ever had, especially when she admits Woo-jun helped her get back on her feet. He was a genuinely good guy, and the breakup visibly wrecked himโso why did the show punish him even more by making him a lonely, depressed mess while everyone else moved on? Instead of giving him a meaningful arc, they just left him as the sad, forgotten ex. If Doona and Woo-jun fought through everything else, why couldnโt they be together? What started as a strong, emotional story turned into a frustrating, uneven messโ3 stars.
