Scream 2: The Real Horror Was the Ending
Wow. What an emotional rollercoasterโand by rollercoaster, I mean one of those kiddie ones that only go in a circle but somehow still manage to derail.
The movie starts off with suspense, clever kills, and enough plot twists to keep you guessing. But thenโฆ that ending. Itโs as if the writers took a long lunch break, forgot they had a deadline, and decided to let their cats finish the script.
So flimsy it makes a wet tissue look like Kevlar. By the time the credits rolled, I wasnโt scaredโI was angry. Angry that I spent two hours only to get this.
If you like horror movies where the true terror lies in the lack of satisfying storytelling, this oneโs for you. One star, and thatโs only because I feel bad for the actors who had to pretend that ending was good.
