Strong on themes, an epitaph and a reimagination of the legacy. A little playful fun. Some modern acknowledgments, strangely a film without a named rogue enemy state, left me feeling like a child of the 80’s who is no longer allowed to root for or against anyone. Surprises may have saved the film, but I wanted, in the end, a bit more than was delivered.
