Having been strung out on Oxy myself, gotta say this is pretty true to life. But the people portrayed are doing a much higher dose than I'm familiar with. I like that in Dopesick they aren't glossing over either side. The rich ppl are purposely being devious as far as I know, just as much as the poor people. Except the poor people are being taken advantage of, and it's obvious. A lot of these shows are make believe or dramatizations. This Dopesick show is by someone who's definitely been there. They know how addicts Jones for more dope, and will do about anything to get more. I know this world and it's honest about it.
