This game spits in the face of the original series. It just reeks of corporates "Copy-what's-popular" strategy. There wasn't even an attempt to stay true to the lore. Who is this even for? The Apex / Fortnite communities are generally going to have no clue about the original which came out in 2004 Majority of them won't even have been born. This game is a quick knockoff to jump on the battle royal bandwagon. There are better battle royals and this is an insult to the original.

Really enjoyed first season. The second season is just overly soap opera'd into something I can't get behind. Warping all the characters til they'd be more at home in twilight. Arrogance of the writers is incredible.
