Most of the casting is spot on. If it's accurate, it's very telling. A lot of HUGE egos and attitudes to match. The dialogue is funny, but it is a little slow, and hard to watch at times. It seems that a lot of people didn't want the show to happen. I'm glad that it did happen. I was 16yrs old when SNL debuted, and I can honestly say that the show definitely had an impact on me. In my opinion, the earlier years were the greatest, and I say that with no disrespect to the later and current cast members. If you weren't around when the show first came out, you probably can't appreciate what it meant to us in the 70s. Watching reruns certainly does not capture what it was like to see the show live back then. In my opinion, it is certainly worth checking out.
