Well, it seemed interesting at first, but then it dawned on me that this is a predictable CW show; full on pretty people in their very early twenties and typical in that type of angst. The plot lines are okay, but the teenage boyfriend/girlfriend relationships are base and extremely annoying. Aside from the obvious eye candy, there's really no scientific basis for the science fiction in this show. It's soft core space opera for 15 year old angst filled kids; not hard science fiction. All and all, it's a noble attempt by a couple of football fans at trying to create a science fiction show, however in my humble opinion, it's a feeble attempt at a space opera. The CW has fared much better with Supergirl and related DC universe shows. Watch those instead. I really don't see this show making it past the second season. They'll be lucky to hit a third. They should take some cues from Star Trek Discovery and ramp it up on issues that are relevant to our times, and focus less on who's screwing who in classic college fashion. Leave the juvenile aspect alone, and try to appeal to a more mature and sophisticated audience. Actually, it's pretty bad. Sometimes it has its own merits and points of humor, but for it to thrive, the writers really need to step up their game, and the CGI really needs a lot of work. Right now I'm just watching to glaze my eyeballs, but I swear there was a bit in season 2, episode 3 where I could see the pixels. The resolution was terrible. But this bit with the oversized pigeon and the bellhop is kind of humorous, until it turned into overdramatized teenage malarkey.
