Went out to see this movie with my best friend and younger sister. We had never read any books by Colleen Hoover, just thought it'd be a silly love triangle romance movie because that's all any synopsis pointed to. All three of us had panic attacks in the theater due to DV & SA shown (without any warnings, mind you). We left early. Never in a million years will I touch any related media, and I'd never be able to recommend it to anyone with a clear conscience. Ultimately, the moral is good. Break the cycle. However, a little warning would've been nice. Definitely not lighthearted girls night material.
