It gave me a few good scares! I liked that I could see what her idea was, but I am rating 3 for several reasons (I will try not to spoil anything)
The big man reason I rated 3 stars, is because with found footage movies there needs to be a reason that you are filming. In my husbands words, if you are simply recording just to record it makes no sense (like if you are just walking to a location, it wasn't part of the content for the movie more just a filler with no context as to why you are still filming)
Then leaving cameras on to record when you have no reason or clue if where you have gone actually has anything of value for content, makes no sense to the viewer. Why is the camera put in these specific spots?
With not much background for the reasoning to film it gets lost on why it is being filmed at all.
Found footage films are about usage of what you see, filler, unless giving important context, is unneeded because in a way, it isn't the people that it happened to that have found the footage. People who found it and are reporting it would be the edittors afterwards and would probably cut out the boring parts where friends are just dickin around.
My only spoiler will be a ways below as like a "this is what could have set context for cameras placed but up to the viewers to decide"

>SPOILER/CRITIC OF PLACEMENT<
Instead of playing Hide and Seek randomly outside, no where close to the house, they should have done that inside the house when they got there. They could have had spooky moments where EVERYONE felt something was off and that would set context as to where to place cameras. It would have built the pressure a bit more and added some more jump scare potential.
Example: My family and I used to play hide and seed in the house when night fell, we would turn lights off and my dad's favorite hiding spot was using a rug or sheet to extend the area around a window so he could hide effectively. Since we couldn't see anything (pitch black) we would be scuffling around and doing touches to find people, he scared us good a couple times over with that move.
