Boring, over hyped and sort of depressing. This was not worth the premiere $30 price. Wait for the free version for Disney+. I suffered watching it 3 times to make sure I did not feel different. Characters are not as engaging as the animated version. I was not looking or expecting the dragon or the characters singing songs but there is absolutely no fun in this movie even when it tries to be funny. That Disney "magic" moment is nowhere to be found. I couldn't have cared less what happened in the movie as it continued. Actress for Mulan lacked charisma and I did not find her likeable at all. The witch was better and much more interesting. You wont miss anything if you wait and you will be happy not to have spent $30. In my opinion, the 5 star reviews of this movie are over reaching and over thinking what a Disney movie should be about - fun, magical and an escape from the ordinary. The best part of this movie is at the end when you hear the songs.
