⚠️ Spoilers ⚠️ Long Walk but no long director meetings… Good idea but ended up being mid. All the young actors did great. Director didn’t. Pros: Interesting concept. Mostly well executed (no pun intended). Not as predictable as you’d think. Good plot for having little material with the concept. Actors preformed extremely well! Cons: Ending, like where was buddy going? He could’ve told them two winners next time. Why did the soldier hand him a loaded rifle? Where did the crowd go? What friggen year was it? What war happened for America to be that way? The “rabbit” could’ve got a free pass as a plot that he’s in every race. Crowds could’ve intervened a couple times during. Wild animals could’ve came across their path or road obstructions via nature. The mother could’ve and should’ve ran along side. Someone could’ve tripped in a pothole. You’re telling me his feet didn’t get sore in socks? No one had blisters? It’s like the director had a good idea and didn’t have a second meeting, leaving it half baked. Will probably avoid their next work at least paying for it in theatre. Normally I’m really forgiving, except for the movie Mother lol.

Classic from start to end. Seen it in theatre in 2001, still holds up today! Every part is well played including the background actors. Even in the quieter scenes there’s a lot going on. Bravo! 🫡

Haven’t walked out of the theatre with the creeps or wondering what’s behind something in the dark, in a long time! Anytime a new characters timeline came up, I was happy there was more and more. Jokers mom + Naruto run are the buzzwords I heard in and outside of the theatre as my friend and I left lol. Gotta go rewatch Barbadian as it’s the same director.

***Spoiler Free*** If you liked the other ones then you’ll like these. If you haven’t seen many of the other ones or haven’t watched any at all, or even remember them, it’s still a good watch. Nothing super amazing but it’s cool to see the formula done in different ways, guess how things will go and to see Tony Todd one last time. Movie didn’t disappoint.

Sent this a buddy… Just saw Fight or Fight with Josh Hartnett since he came back to the movies. Was like John Wick and punisher on Redbull inside a plane lol 😂

Stay past the credits! A bunch of people walked out without seeing that scene. Didn’t know much about the movie. Really liked it. Got a free poster. Glad they kept it in theatres as I had gone to see mostly everything else. Don’t not go just because you think it’s scary. Will watch again when it’s out on streaming. Would watch again if a friend wanted to. Definitely not a waste of money. Would've been awesome to see the twins past shown in scenes.

Groundhog Day of horror films. Good movie. Good concept. Hard to see your theatre snacks lol. Nice jump scares. Couple cheesy moments. Would recommend to horror lovers and maybe ones who played the game. I hadn’t myself but owned it. Felt a bit drawn out, take a leak before you go in lol.

Great watch! Ben is the human ChatGPT and Brenthal had some good humour and a variety of emotions. What one lacks, the other makes up for but they match each others skill. Anything that brings MS13 into the light is good. Not a ton ot action but awesome when it happens. The FBI agent was annoying ngl… Solid show! Would watch again, just like the first. It’s like Wick, you want sequels and it’s cool that it’s brothers, not a one man army like Wick.

Solid effort! Denzel’s non accent felt a bit off. Couple cringe moments. Originals especially cult classics will always be praised by the fact they went beyond during the battles and a satisfying ending was great. Expected it to not be good but it was pretty darn good! 👍 Casting was on point down to the last person on screen even for a little bit. Set pieces and environment always looked great.
