Saw this as a kid when it came out and still holds as the best made for tv movie I’ve seen. De Passe is a true icon. This film gives a thorough account of one of the greatest groups of all time. It transports us to the golden era of music, not missing a beat. The ending still gives me chills.

Wanted to love this because I loved Groundhog Day and Bill Murray is great. However, this one missed the mark. I would skip this one. If you’re looking for a classic comedic holiday movie, this isn’t it.

Quite possibly one of the best romantic comedies ever. It is thoughtful, funny, entertaining, and Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan carry such a beautiful chemistry. I love the way the movie progresses in a way that you feel as though you are part of their journey. The ending wasn’t rushed or far fetched, but exactly the way it would and should play out. Doesn’t matter your gender, age, ethnicity, or beliefs - this movie reminds you that we all have a desire for the kind of love and friendship that is unconditional, genuine, and enters our lives unexpectedly. Rob Reiner so eloquently intertwines them all. 4/4 🤍
