I wish I could give this game all the stars. But unfortunately I can’t. The graphics, music and sound design are spot on. So so good! But this proves that by having a good looking game, it doesn’t mean it is a good game. I’m shocked and still disgusted how the story line played out. It had so much potential. SPOILERS The first two hours that horrible scene happens. You’re forced to play as Abby first. Which destroys any sympathy you could have had for the character had it been done later in the game. They could have had made Abby a friend of Ellie and then finding out who Joel is. Or have her even as a love interest. That would have been a blow to the heart. Or even just start as Abby do her entire bit, and then have her kill Joel and start as Ellie. It just seems that they force you to play with her. The many times I just ran into a clicker invested building just to watch her die are countless. The ending sucks. The only one who gets some kind of good ending and closure is freaking Abby! Ellie is left to come back to nothing. She’s lost everything and she doesn’t get what she deserves. Shame on you naughty dog. 7 years I waited for the second part. I played the first game about 8 times that’s how much I loved it. This one I won’t ever touch again. You ain’t getting game of the year this time. You should have learned what happens when you write badly. Just look at GOT S8.
