Excellent film, of acting and humanly controversial choices. No villains or heroes, no Hollywood cliches, just four people weighing up the options based on their personal experiences that no amount of training can prepare them for.
Based on a 1954 short story, the science fiction side is just a setting, there are questionable facts, but they are insignificant, because the real story is the human side. This could have been filmed on a raft in the middle of an ocean, and the story would have been just as gripping.
And for those who cry racism, know that Shamier plays admirably and a very credible role, a role he chose, and I thank him for this great performance, I discovered with this film a good actor.
