This movie sucks! Everything is wrong with this movie. The story is lazy, the special effects are so awful, it makes The Scorpion King look great, the ending makes no sense, the whole thing is depressing and ridiculous and the CGI looks like stop motion clay, I don't know if it's supposed to be live action/animated because of how terrible it is, the CGI also looks obvious and I can tell that the creators are relying on it, the acting is lazy, rushed and the jokes are not even funny. I'm better off reading the book because it's more fun than the movie. I remember seeing the book being advertised on Spy Kids (2001 VHS release) and then I saw the movie Artemis Fowl during the summer when I was 15 years old. It was not as good as I thought it was at all. Thankfully, it was not my birthday gift. Plus, everybody acts like the villain, even if they are not. There are no good people or positive messages. Just a dumb sad story and a complete waste of time! My #1 hated film. 😡. On a scale of 1 - 10, I pick -8.5.
