You don't have to be in a state of depression to decide to give this movie a chance. The cast does an excellent job of sucking you in and feeling something. Damon does some of his best work as a father desperate to escape the memories of his recently deceased wife. His desperation to find a way to move his family forward without her shows plainly. The way the cast plays off each other is just wonderful to watch. If by the end of this movie you aren't smiling ear to ear with a happy tear streaming down your cheek, you have no soul.
