Based on the Stephen King book of the same title, this is a truly exceptional movie. Jack Nicholson is brilliant as the husband and father who's losing his mind. "Here's Johnny."

This was once a 'video nasty' and banned by the censors for its extreme violence and gore. I was fortunate to see it before it was banned. Really enjoyed it. Years later it was re-released with a lot of the blood and gore toned down. Today you can get the full version.
