Normally a story has a beginning, a middle and an end. This was like climbing a hill for the full run time minus two minutes. Getting to the top of the hill, seeing a cliff and then nothing. You don't jump, you don't go back down the hill, not even a parachute. All the waiting for something to happen and then the credits roll. I think the story and acting was pretty good, i just don't remember much else of it and I just watched it.

The five stars is not for the movie itself and not even for the acting in general, but for the way Grace Vanderwaal lights up every scene she is in. Granted she has plenty to learn in how to portray each character in a way that makes the audience believe that is who she was born to be. But for me, that didnt really matter with this film.

I absolutely love this series. The originals had their charm and are still good for a re-watch, but this reboot feels so much like home these days. All kids feel the need to fit in and many do for the most part. For those that just cant find their niche, this sends a perfect message. You dont have to be the best and be on the best team to have fun and spend time with friends and not be on a screen. Is this a mind-blowing cinematic experience to rival Star Wars or the Mandalorian? No, but its not meant to be. Sometimes a great story is the one that we make up, one that we can relate to and actually believe what we are seeing onscreen. I hope Disney keeps creating this type of content because i find myself longing for Friday's more so than my children...

After watching Big Bang Theory for 12 years, I believe I have taken Kaleys acting for granted. While she is good at comedic acting, she is brilliant in a dramatic role. Forget the little things in TFA that don't make alot of sense, she really shines in her performance. I can't wait for season two...
