I don't understand why reviewers only gave this 35%. This was a really good movie. It revealed just how racist this country is. Of course they killed Nate Parker's character at the end and lied that he was an extremist terrorist. Equal justice in America is a damn lie. I think this country is a racist sesspool of inequality and prison is slavery with a different name.

Powerful emotional and psychological issues with the main character. Jonathan Majors showed some very deep trauma within the character Killian Maddox. It may have contributed to his showing abusive actions in real life. Childhood trauma comes out in later life with addictions. Killian certainly was addicted to body building. This movie is a very deep lesson in understanding addiction.
