Granted I only attempted this game twice, it has been uninstalled from my system. All I can say is Ubisoft took a unique franchise with it's own style of game play, which was a welcome change from the other 2 franchises (I'm sure everyone knows what I am referring to) and went ahead and made yet another version of the run, gun, die, repeat.
The Rainbow 6 franchise used to reward a player for progressing through the game using their team strategically, having to put some thought into every action taken. Now it is a clone of all the other ones. 3 minute rounds, really? What happened to story progressions?
Yes, I am an old guy now, but the Rainbow series has always been the reason I kept up on games, the reason I kept buying the new versions of consoles. The last 2 installments of the Rainbow series have ruined video games for me. Ubisoft, please make your own game again. Don't give us yet another version of Call of Duty, there are enough of those games that are uninteresting, yes, Battlefield too. We don't need another run around the same 10 maps to get as many kills as possible so we can get a new paint scheme on our gun. Maybe the 12 year olds think that's fun. I know, that's who game developers have to cater to, but it alienates a bunch of the game buying public.
Okay, enough of my griping, at least those 12 year olds will be inside playing video games and won't be getting on my lawn!
