I am personally someone that doesn’t typically review something unless I really enjoy it. I came into this game having only played the first dark souls and honestly for the first few moments of the game was worried I may have wasted my money on a game I couldn’t play. This was not the case after a little free roam and exploration I got my character build going (for any new player like me you can follow a guide, I deviated from mine after a while and made it my own once I got the sense of it) and I found myself having a good time. when it came to the first boss of the game was it hard? Yes. Impossible? No. I would recommend giving the game a go besides the difficulty and “suitability” toward new players it’s a fully immersive experience, rich and beautifully diverse environments with an expansive map, well written NPCs and hours of gameplay that you wouldn’t get out of other games at this price. side note: unlike most other games this game doesn’t hold your hand too much and you are somewhat left to figure out what to do may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I didn’t think it was mine but here I am 50 hours in with a lot of progress
