Really an odd show. The issue is the main characters deviate too far from the original movie or story. The well loved characters of Elrond and Galadriel has been dumbed down to elevate the uninteresting characters they will push. The couples don’t have chemistry and Orcs are now “freedom fighters”. Not every show has to have such diversity plot lines for diversity sake.

It’s quite good, worth a watch compared to the various Disney ones. It is refreshing, meaningful diversity. Focus on main characters knowing it can’t cover all. Good villains and consequences.
