Good but not his best. I am, however, glad that it is part of my collection and listen to it quite a bit. Anyone into metal and Dio will want this album but it is not like it'll be missed, especially after the GREAT "Dehumanizer" album with Black Sabbath. Now, that is a heavy, angry album!! Strange Highways" can be quite cumbersome. At the moment: 10 stars for "Dehumanizer" and 5.5 for "Strange Highways." I probably wouldn't buy another SH album, if I lost the Cd. There are so many better metal albums and, though trying hard, this Dio album just isn't a 5 star album. I hope to "get the feel" the album but it hasn't happened yet. Somewhat disappointed because I expect better from Ronnie. R.I.P.
