I honestly love the tone of this Halo TV Series. As a Halo fan, I know it's not a 1:1 adaptation of the games and that's actually fine. The games were great, but seriously, 343 should've done a better job in expanding the franchise. The only thing really good that came out of the games and actually made more people interested, is Halo Infinite Multiplayer and this show. If you were a hardcore Xbox player, did you ever play anything else other than Halo? I mean really? That's one of the main reasons it is as popular as it is. This show gives new perspective and gives a better first impression about Spartans than the games actually did. Yeah, in the games, the suits were cool, the Spartans were legendary, Master Chief's voice is cool, the story telling?? That's where it actually falls off and it doesn't help that they don't show you the main character's face because of immersion. Any other reason as to why MC doesn't show his face after that, are only added in after fans were asking for an in-game reason. But it was always just for immersion. MC needed a face. I'm glad that Pablo became MC. Whiny "hardcore" Halo fans will tell you otherwise and would just hate on this show for illogical reasons. Overall, this show is great. Maybe we'll get a movie franchise in the future that will be more faithful to the games, but for this tv show, they're doing great for what they've been given.
