Judy Beighton

I began reading this book as it was recommended on a TV book club program. I have not yet finished it and I’ve still got about 100 chapters to go. I’m finding it really confusing ; a strange, intermittent style and I’m struggling to see it through to the end. it is confusing and I have found myself going back to reread proceeding chapters. The characters are interesting but it drags on for too long and I cannot wait to finish it. This book has received many good reviews, but personally I cannot see why. It could have been written with half the amount of words.
