“The negro speaks of rivers,” will forever be one of my favorite poems. The poem has a unique depth that some will never achieve. The repetitiveness really concretes the meaning of the poem and helps the reader understand the message. This poem is deeply moving and has inspired people to start writing their own. (I wrote this for a school essay but I wanted to post it as a review to help other people with their essays lol)
