I seen the story of The Color Purple in every iteration, except as a foreign film, if that exists! I just saw the latest version, 2023 film & I never cried over this story until now! I love that they gave more depth to nearly every character-GENIUS!
This is a star studded cast-even Whoopie made a brief appearance! If you love the story, do yourself a favor & make this a must see-you won’t be disappointed! But bring tissues!😱
