Poorly written and directed, lacking continuity and sense, having dialogue contradicting itself. It feels more like a bad school play, than a 180md TV show. Over ambitiously trying to change a story that has been consistent for 40+ years. Why do a Star Wars protect, then? Start a new show and set your own plot.
