Finished the tenth session. Yes, it's not exactly like the original. No, it's NOT terrible. The casting is fantastic, the music is on point, the story is predictable (even if you had never seen the anime), but the majority of the important elements are still there. Spoilers so Beware: The weakest parts of the show, from what I can tell, are mainly isolated to Vicious/Julia early on. Especially Julia's scenes at the club.

At once charming and bleak, this game is an ambitious romp in design that falls short just as much as it is a joy to play. The story is nothing spectacular and the presentation in the first few hours is its worst crime but breaking through the introductory drudgery reveals a world that is truly open and enticing to explore. This is one of those games that you describe by stating where its flaws are and still say, "You need to play it."
