The Castaways is probably worthy of more stars, but my personal preferences for a "perfect read" are for either a feel good story or a great mystery. This book was depressingly full of cheating and lying among a group of eight SUPPOSEDLY "close friends" and felt anything but good to me. Definitely NOT a book I would have wanted to read while on vacation.
