I really wanted to like this show. Unfortunately, it fails in so many ways. 1. Too much exposition- If one needs to spend an entire episode giving the backstory, it becomes problematic and detracts from the real story. 2. Too much hype; no action- For months they have been hyping the wookie jedi. In the end , what do we get? The wookie is in the flashback and in the next epidode, the wookie is already dead. 3. To slow- Episode 4 which I call the jedi camping episode shows the jedi walking around a forest for most of the episode. 4. None of the characters are interesting, compelling, or have any presence- The lead jedi is trying to give off a Qui-Gon Jinn vibe. Jedi Master Indara had presence, but of course they killed her within the first 10 minutes. A few other notes; The first episode was the strongest. Each episode after that has been disappointing. Here's hoping they can turn it around.

Like many other reviewers I agree the cinematography is beautiful. Unfortunately, the plot drags unnecessarily and it is hard to connect with the cast. More specifically there are no compelling characters which makes the movie unwatchable.
