I've never seen that many TEEPEES in a movie....seemed around 100 !!
Great cast and scenery. hard to believe this movie is 67 yrs old as I type this.

I had a Jackie Robinson softball bat growing up! I never fully realized what he went thru until watching this movie tonight, 2.7.22.
What he went thru as the 1st black man playing against white teams only and the racism comments that were non-stop!
What a sense of humor he had also .
God bless Jackie, wife, and what Mr. Richey went thru making his a REALITY.
RIP Jackie. I just checked; it will be 50 years in Oct. when he died.
Jan. 29, he turned 102 in heaven! Thanks for being the role model you were to all black players you became an inspiration to.
